projectors and computer lesson guides. The school has its
own dedicated scuba equipment as well as all necessary
support materials. We teach in English, German, French,
Dutch, Swedish, Italian, Russian, Spanish, Hungarian and
Arabic.

Adventure
Diver
Become an
Adventure Diver when you complete any three adventure dives.
You can earn your PADI Adventure Diver certification in just
one day. If you complete your Deep Adventure Dive,
Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive and three Adventure
Dives for a total of five, you can earn your Advanced Open
Water Diver certification. Have you always wanted to try
wreck diving? How about underwater photography? Here's your
opportunity because you can sample three dives of your
choice, get a taste of what you like and feel more
comfortable in the water, strengthening your underwater
skills and letting you enjoy diving more than ever.
Advanced
Open Water Diver
The PADI
Advanced Open Water Diver course is a two-day training
class, which provides Open Water divers with well organized,
structured and valuable supervised experience. You will
complete five ocean boat dives in various underwater
activities to increase your experience and capabilities.
Rescue
Diver
This three
day course is a very important step in expanding knowledge
and experience. As with all PADI courses, it is
‘performance’ based and involves classroom, confined water
and beach skill development sessions followed by five open
water training sessions. Self-rescue and diver stress,
diving first aid, emergency management, equipment
considerations, tired diver, panicked diver, response from
shore or boat with both a conscious and unconscious victim,
distressed diver, surfacing an unconscious diver,
unconscious diver at the surface, egress with an unconscious
diver, first aid for pressure related injuries, underwater
search scenario, response, egress and management scenarios.
Emergency
First Response
Emergency
First Response gives you the skills you need to perform CPR
and First Aid. Whether you're a diver or a non-diver,
Emergency First Response helps you to properly handle
potentially life-threatening situations. This comprehensive
program contains two core modules that can be taught in
tandem or as stand-alone courses: Emergency First Response -
Primary Care and Emergency First Response - Secondary Care.
Together, these courses provide extensive instruction in CPR
and First Aid, as well as providing optional (yet
recommended) Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and
Emergency Oxygen sections. This course is usually conducted
over one day.
PADI Oxygen
Provider
The Oxygen
Provider course is designed to give students the necessary
basic training to administer oxygen to victims of diving
accidents. When combined with the Rescue Diver and Emergency
First Response courses it provides the best preparation to
react correctly to any diving related accident.
Master
Scuba Diver
Master
Scuba Diver is the highest level that can be reached in
recreational diving and denotes high achievement. To reach
this level you must complete all levels of PADI training
including Rescue Diver, Emergency First Response and 5
specialty courses.
PADI
Specialty Courses
The purpose
of PADI Specialty Courses is to familiarize you with the
techniques, knowledge, planning, organization, potential
hazards and safety skills for various special interest areas
of diving. The Specialty Course is a safe and supervised
introduction into that area.
Navigation, Boat Diver, Drift Diver, Multilevel Diver,
Underwater Naturalist, Search & Recovery, Night Diver, Wreck
Diver, Equipment Specialist, Underwater Photography, Project
Aware Fish Identification, Nitrox Diver, Peak Performance
Buoyancy, Underwater Videography, Deep Diver, Dolphin
Rebreather.
PADI Nitrox
Diver
The PADI
Nitrox diver course is one day’s training providing
recreational divers with the knowledge needed to plan and
execute recreational Nitrox dives. You will make two Nitrox
dives after the completion of the academic sessions.
All itineraries below give a sample of the routes normally
offered by Emperor Divers. Some flexibility is required on
routes that can be affected by adverse weather conditions,
unforeseen Egyptian Government restrictions and the level of
each diver's experience. Your actual itinerary will be
confirmed at the time of booking.
South Sinai Cruise and beyond: Departing from Sharm El
Sheikh. Includes Ras Mohamed, Straits of Tiran and the
wrecks of the Thistlegorm & Dunraven.
Whether
you're a beginner or an experienced diver, there is always
the right dive for your level of experience. And in each
dive something beautiful and new to see. We recommend a
minimum of 20 - 30 dives or Advanced level to share the
experience of the deeper dive sites such as the wreck of the
Thistlegorm (max 32mt depth) and drift-dives like Ras
Mohamed or the Reefs of the Straits of Tiran
(drop-offs/drift diving).
After diving the Ras Mohamed National Park, we pass into the
Gulf of Suez and visit the reef system of Shab Mahmoud where
one of the oldest wrecks, the Dunraven (sunk in 1889), and
the WWII wreck, the Thistlegorm, are located.
Enjoy the excitement of diving the Southern tip of the Sinai
and savor the backdrop of a mountainous desert landscape
whilst discovering the hidden magical beauty beneath the
waves where nature, by contrast, has provided a spectacular
display of colorful coral reefs and an array of tropical
fish life.
Abu Nuhas and Straits of Gubal Cruise: Departing from
Hurghada. Includes all the wrecks of Abu Nuhas and, weather
permitting, the wreck of the Thistlegorm.
This cruise
has something for everyone. Starting from Hurghada and
sailing north gives a perfect combination of reef diving and
wreck diving. Abu Nuhas has four well-known wrecks - Giannis
D, Carnatic, Chrisoula K and Seastar, all lying at moderate
depths on a beautiful reef covered with a variety of hard
corals.
Most of the time, the dives will be done from RIBs.
Night dives can be superb in this area, especially Shab um
Usk with lots of Spanish dancers. Gubal Island offers
protected anchoring for the night, a small wreck at 8-10
metres covered in pink, magenta and purple soft corals makes
for a spectacular night dive and excellent drop-off drift
dives on the eastern wall.
Rosalie Moeller is close by, which can be a challenging dive
due to her location on the deep windward side of the island
and washed with strong currents. It's a short ride to cross
the straits of Gubal to visit the most famous wreck of the
Red Sea, the Thistlegorm, an awe-inspiring World War II
British vessel. Her cargo is full of armaments (Bedford
trucks and BSA motorbikes), which were all destined for the
British troops in North Africa. She was sunk by the German
Luftwaffe and now lies in 30 metres of water. Depending on
the experience of divers, weather and current conditions, we
also try to offer a night dive here. The Thistlegorm is
usually the "border", from here the boat heads back towards
Hurghada
Panorama
Reef and Abu Kafan Cruise: Departing from Hurghada South to
Safaga. Includes the wreck of the Salem Express, Middle
Reef, Panorama Reef.
The area
around Safaga has some great diving, the best being well
offshore in the areas of Panorama Reef, Middle Reef and Abu
Kafan. Some divers say this equals the great sites of Ras
Mohamed and Carless Reef. The whole area is protected and
the same rules apply here as elsewhere, so please follow
them.
The diving offers a combination of shallow reef dives and
drop-offs, as well as the famous wreck of the Salem Express.
There is superb wall diving at Panorama, Shab Sheer and Abu
Kafan as well as some little secrets like Hal Hal, which can
only be dived in suitable weather conditions.
Soft and black corals, fan and huge gorgonians, plus
frequent sightings of Jacks, Barracudas, Reef Sharks and
occasional Hammerheads, all promise a true adventure.
Note: It is possible to include a visit to the Brother
Islands by prior arrangement in this cruise.
Northern
Red Sea: Mini safaris: Mini safaris are usually for 3 - 4
days and are perfect for "safari beginners" who are not sure
about staying a whole week on board.
This offers
a combination of 3 days safari and 4 days hotel, probably
with some additional day diving during your hotel stay.
Departures are from Hurghada or Sharm El Sheikh.

Brothers
and Marine Park Islands Cruise: Includes cruises from Ras
Galib with Elphinstone/Brothers Island/Daedalus Reef or
Rocky/Zarbagad/St Johns.
The Brother
Islands are the pinnacles of two undersea mountains rising
from the depths of the abyss, are located about 60 miles
offshore and are part of the Marine Park Islands National
Park. The islands offer stunning wall diving, with the walls
being covered in soft corals and forests of gorgonians,
creating a kaleidoscope of ever changing colours. They
attract a diverse array of marine species and large pelagics.
Large tuna, Jacks and Snappers cruise in the blue,
accompanied by Hammerheads, Grey Reef, Silver Tips, Silky
and Oceanic White Tip Sharks and Mantas. Even the rare
Thresher Shark can be found here.
For the wreck diver, the wrecks of the Aida II, an Egyptian
supply vessel and the Numibia, a cargo ship, lie on the
walls of the Big Brother. Both are covered in a rich growth
of soft and hard corals.
Daedalus Reef, also part of the Marine Park, is a large,
oval reef with a lighthouse and is the furthest offshore
reef in the Egyptian Red Sea. Its deep walls and drop-offs
offer some of the most spectacular diving in the Red Sea.
Daedalus has mountainous, pristine, hard coral formations.
There is also a strong chance of spotting schooling
Hammerheads, Thresher Sharks, Mantas and Whale Sharks.
Moving further south, we reach the spectacular overhangs and
deep walls of Rocky Island and the abundance of soft coral
and spectacular coral pinnacles at Zabargad. These dives
will exceed your expectations.
Cruises to Brother Islands only can also include Elphinstone
reef in the itinerary.
Requirements
The
offshore Marine Park Islands - The Brothers, Zabagad,
Daedulus and Rocky
Egyptian law requires divers to have a minimum of 50 logged
dives.
All other Red Sea Safari areas
Individual bookings: Northern and Southern safari routes
contain advanced dives. If you are not sure about the
experience level required, please contact us for advice. It
is also possible to complete the Advanced Open Water Course
whilst on safari.
usually 20kg. BCDs and bottles must be empty, properly
closed and carried in the hold. Note: Some content and depth
gauges and computers can be affected by low pressure. As
with cameras, these should be carried as part of your hand
luggage.
Climate: The diving season is year-round with visibility
averaging 30m. Water temperatures range from 20ºC in the
winter months to 29ºC in summer. The topside air
temperatures range between 22ºC in winter to 38ºC in summer.
July and August are the hottest months. In winter, there can
often be a breeze.
Divers can use LYCRA, DARLEX or POLARTEC suits during late
spring, summer and early autumn. During winter, a 5mm
two-piece suit is best and for the evenings, a light sweater
or jacket is recommended.
